Rebecca Noecker Wins Re-election

SAINT PAUL- Councilmember Rebecca Noecker has been re-elected to the St. Paul City Council Ward 2 seat.

Noecker secured 63.36% of first choice ballots and won 100% of precincts in Ward 2.

“I’m deeply grateful to the voters of Ward 2 for their support,” Councilmember Noecker said. “This campaign has been about engaging people throughout the ward in a conversation about what we want for our community. Tonight’s vote is about the future we have the chance to build together. I’m excited to keep working hard to make St. Paul a better place for working families, a place where all kids get off to a great start and all people feel safe and free to thrive.”

During her first two terms on the City Council, Noecker focused on critical community needs, like building affordable housing, increasing access to child care, addressing the gun violence epidemic, fighting for small businesses, and expanding library and rec center services for kids. In her third term, Noecker will focus on expanding access to quality child care, affordable housing and jobs, investing in basic infrastructure and public safety, improving the quality of city services and stabilizing the city budget.

Rebecca Noecker started her career as an educator and a nonprofit program manager. She was first elected to the Saint Paul City Council in 2015. Councilmember Noecker is a proud resident of Saint Paul’s West Side where she lives with her husband Shane and her two children.
