Rebecca Noecker Announces Campaign for Re-Election to Ward 2 City Council Seat in 2023

Noecker seeks to continue progress on affordable housing, public safety, early learning and economic growth

SAINT PAUL — In a statement released earlier today, Saint Paul City Council Member Rebecca Noecker announced that she will seek re-election to her Ward 2 seat in 2023.

“I’m running again because I love St. Paul, and I want to keep working to make it an even better place.” said Noecker. “I’m excited to keep working with residents
to make our city a place where all children get off to a great start, housing and jobs are abundant, and families feel safe in neighborhoods they love.”

In her two terms on the City Council, Noecker has led on crucial policy achievements like investing millions of dollars in affordable housing and shelter, tackling gun violence with data-driven strategies, cutting red tape so small businesses can open in our neighborhoods, improving pedestrian safety, and expanding free activities for kids in our libraries and rec centers.

Councilmember Rebecca Noecker is a former educator who was first elected to the Saint Paul City Council in 2015. Councilmember Noecker is a proud resident of Saint Paul’s West Side where she lives with her husband Shane and her two children.
