Thank you.

Thank you for your support.  Your contributions.  Your time.  And most importantly, your vote.

I’m so proud of the work we did together.  We led on all seven ballots of the DFL endorsing convention, we brought people together from all over the ward, we engaged new voters and discussed important issues, and we ran a positive, issues-based campaign.

And thanks to all of your support, we are in the lead after election night.

However, since no candidate received 50% of the first-choice votes, the race is not over.

So, what’s next?

Next Monday at 8:30 am, Ramsey County will begin the process of reallocation in the Ward 2 race.  This is not a recount; rather, it is the next step in the Ranked Choice Voting process (you can learn more by clicking here).

We expect to know results by mid-afternoon on Monday and we’ll share the news as soon as possible.

In the meantime, my team and I are taking care of some final campaign wrap-up activities.  If you hosted a lawn sign, please leave it in a place where it’s clearly visible and volunteers will be coming around soon to pick it up.

Again, I am so grateful for everything you have done to support me.  Looking forward to the work ahead together.

All my best,
rebecca sig teal
